Worldmark Resort Ballarat

Take a step back in time while retaining all the comforts of the 21st century when you visit the heritage-listed Worldmark Resort Ballarat, built in 1878. The mansion is situated on 55 picturesque acres that feature beautiful gardens, a lake perfect for boating and fishing and two tennis courts. There is also a heated indoor pool, spa, sauna, gym and a children’s playground. For those who want to enjoy some quiet time while on holiday the mansion has it’s own library, as well as a games room for the kids (both young and old) to enjoy.

Located only an hour and a half from Melbourne, Ballarat is the perfect weekend escape for those who live in Victoria, and is a great way to see some of the Victorian countryside for those visiting interstate. Indulge in a winery tour in one of the nearby wine regions, or visit some of the many historical sites and museums to learn more about Ballarat and its place in Australian gold rush history.

There are both standard and deluxe studios and one, two and three bedroom apartments on offer to accommodate couples or families of any size. The studios have kitchenettes and all of the larger apartments have full kitchens as well as a lounge and dining area.

Keep in mind that the mansion is a two-storey building with no elevator – if anyone in your group has trouble with stairs it is advisable to request a ground floor unit when you book.
